Chief Hollow Horn Bear - Part of the Marriott Tenaya Lodge's Back Bar.  The bar, (shown on the home page), was
commissioned by Marriotts in 1990, and took six months to build.  There are over 2000 individual pieces of wood in this work of art which required a dedicated building during its construction.  The four Indian chiefs, which hold up the back pediment where fashioned from cedar logs, and feature many exotic woods.  The predominant wood used in the bar was Quarter-Sawn Oak, with accents of Walnut, Paduk, Port Orford Cedar, and Honduras Mahogany.

An English Writing Desk with a Provincial flair - Built in 1991 for the Chateau Du Sureau, in California.  The piece is made of Walnut and has six drawers.  Sal built eighty furniture pieces, and over twenty mahogany doors for the Chateau, which is a ten room all suite Castle near Yosemite park.  These pieces where lightly distressed to add an aged look.  The use of turned wooden drawer pulls helps make this piece understated.
